Before you know it, kids are having fun mastering sophisticated classical masterpieces like Beethoven's Ode to Joy, Fur Elise, and Moonlight Sonata!

Kids Violin! ⭐️

Start with the easiest beginner songs like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and other easy favorites for a confident start to violin!

Irish (& American) Fiddle! ⭐️ 

Fiddle is one of the coolest sub-genres played on the violin. It just takes learnin' some quick basics before students of all ages can start on a track to fiddle the day away!

Classical Violin! ⭐️ 

Take the classical path and study some of the world's best musical repertoire. Best for beginners ages 8 and up or students with intermediate to advanced experience.

Kids Cello & Viola! ⭐️ 

If you can do it on a violin, you can generally do it on a viola or cello! Cello is a sitting instrument that features lower, deeper, richer sounds, and viola uses the same low strings but is held under the chin like a violin.

Which instrument is best for you?

Piano: Great for beginners of all ages, even as young as 4 years old! Learn to play classical, pop music, ragtime, or even how to compose music! I start students as young as 4 years old!

Guitar: Another great starter instrument, and one of the most versatile instruments in the world! Learn your favorite pop songs, campfire tunes, rock hits, or Spanish or classical guitar! Great for ages 8 and up. (If younger, try guitar's baby brother, ukulele!)

Ukulele: This fun little instrument is surprisingly useful for fun AND creativity. It's great to pack and play anywhere, plus since it's a chord-based instrument, it's also useful for singer-songwriters to compose their own music! Also a great primer instrument for guitar! Ages 5+ 

Violin, Viola, and Cello: These orchestral instruments offer a range of music to learn, from classical-to-modern, to Irish and American fiddle, and much in-between. Plus, the soft touch on the strings make for gentler startup than guitar and offer lifelong creative challenges.

With so many options, it can be hard to decide! We can schedule a live Zoom meeting to try some together and see which you like best, then join any of my month-to-month classes or courses until you find the best fit! See some of my program options below!

Now is a great time to start a new instrument - or continue improving your skills! If you or your child ages 4-18 would like to learn your favorite classical music, fiddle tunes, Spanish and rock guitar, or even music from your favorite movies and games, see my learning options below!

• Private Lessons: Available in 30-minute blocks, or special extra-short 20-minute lessons for young beginners ages 4-8! Inquire for availability.
• Small Group Online Classes: These are especially popular for students who want a low pressure, self-paced learning environment with a fun social element and weekly live accountability! Students meet at least once each week to learn and practice with the option to also study on their own between classes with one of my virtual courses. For students who do the lessons in the virtual course and keep a consistent practice routine, my small group classes often work better than traditional private lessons! Starting at $79/month (includes all printable supplies, weekly live class, and virtual course) Classes meet by age and skill level. Please inquire for availability.
• Virtual Courses: This option is for students or families who wish to learn primarily on their own with one of my step-by-step courses. Comes with the option for personal video feedback at lesson Checkpoints, and/or in my live classes and private lessons. Starting at $49/month (Includes all supplies and virtual course)
