For Graduates of Kids Piano! Volume 3
Description: In this course, students complete their foundation in the fundamentals of music with a survey through one of the most unique and powerful aspects of piano as a solo or accompaniment instrument: it's ability to produce melodies plus chords and complex harmonies.
Pieces You'll Learn: Fully harmonically enriched arrangements of melodies from Kids Piano! Volumes 1-2, including all three voices of the theme to Moonlight Sonata; the complete theme to Fur Elise (Beethoven), & the advanced counterpoint to Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star composed by W.A. Mozart!
Main Goal of this Course: Adding rich left-hand expression using chords & complex harmonies like Alberti bass and counterpoint
Chords & Harmonic Techniques You'll Learn: Block and broken 3rds-8ths; Triads; Root position chords, 1st & 2nd inversions; the Alberti bass pattern; 3-voice harmony; a Mozart counterpoint.

Main Goal of this Course: To increase enthusiasm to learn and practice with songs from favorite Disney movies; To build on skills taught in Kids Piano with songs in fun and meaningful new contexts.

Description: In this course, students learn their favorite familiar background music from one of the most popular games of all-time! The music of Minecraft was originally written and performed on piano, therefore, students get to learn each piece exactly how it's performed in the game!
Main Goal of this Course: To harness the obsessive enthusiasm students have for Minecraft for educational gain.

Difficulty: Choose your challenge level with easy, medium, and hard sheet music and lessons for each piece. This course is slightly harder than other Youth Favorites courses so is recommended for graduates of Kids Piano Volume 1 or higher.
