Exact-Notes Publisher
Exact-Notes Publisher is an owner-operated Mac tool that uses YouTube API Services to upload approved Exact-Notes lesson videos to the owner’s selected channels, verify saved metadata and processing, and record video links and checkpoints in the existing planning workbook and Business Journal. Playlist placement and future release metadata require approved targets. Current operation is supervised; daily unattended publishing is not enabled.
Privacy
The uploader requests Google’s youtube.force-ssl permission. This permission includes viewing, editing and permanently deleting videos, ratings, comments and captions. The implemented workflow uses it for uploads, channel/video verification, playlist placement and approved release metadata. Automated video deletion is not implemented. Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Approved local media and metadata are sent to YouTube. The uploader reads channel identity, uploads/video identifiers, metadata, processing and visibility information. Original media is read without modification. Local state contains source paths, locally computed hashes and sizes, approved plans, server identifiers, status/checkpoint records and sanitized failure codes. These records support recovery and duplicate prevention.
OAuth credentials and resumable upload session references are stored in macOS Keychain. Execution records and reviewed evidence files are stored in the task workspace on the Mac. Downloaded OAuth setup files remain separate from Keychain until an approved cleanup removes them. Credentials are not intentionally included in workbook or Journal entries or diagnostic output.
The existing connected Google Docs/Sheets tools receive lesson links, statuses and verification notes. The supervising assistant processes these records to operate the workflow. The desktop YouTube grant does not itself authorize Docs or Sheets access. This owner-run uploader has no implemented advertising or data-sale feature.
To request deletion of uploader-stored data or disconnection, contact [email protected]. Access can also be revoked at https://myaccount.google.com/connections. Local-data cleanup does not delete videos stored by YouTube. A separate approved YouTube action is needed to remove those videos. Original source media is outside this uploader’s cleanup scope.
Current pilot limitation: operational and API-derived records have been retained for recovery. Periodic refresh/deletion and cleanup across Keychain, workspace evidence, backups and copied tracker entries are not yet automated. A local cleanup procedure has passed synthetic tests, but its live revocation and external-copy cleanup steps are not connected. Unattended operation remains disabled. Any retained source-only duplicate-prevention block must be separately identified to and approved by the owner; it is not a retained video ID or a claim about current YouTube status.
Terms
Exact-Notes Publisher uses YouTube API Services. By using this uploader, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms. Use of the tool also requires review and acceptance of the Privacy section above. This draft does not record that acceptance and does not enable any upload, release or ongoing automation.
