Start Here: Hot Cross Buns, OUCH!
From Level 1: 5-Song Starter Challenge. Play a first song with three notes and a steady beat.
MEDIUM • SONG 34 • LEVEL 11
Ready for More? (if Easy feels too easy)
From Level 11: Parallel Motion. Train both hands to move in the same direction together.
HARD • SONG 67 • LEVEL 21
The Block Thirds Challenge (if Medium feels comfortable)
From Level 21: Block Thirds. Build a fuller sound with two-note shapes in each hand.
Now celebrate! 🎉
If your child played the song, give them rounds of applause, high-fives, and hugs! Learning something new takes courage, and encouragement from you shows them what they did was special :)
WHY THAT WORKED
Your child just experienced the Exact Notes advantage.
With familiar letters inside real sheet music—and those same letters labeled on the piano keys—a beginner can see what to play without stopping to decode every note first.
That leaves more attention for the skills that actually make music happen: finger control, rhythm, coordination, listening, and expression.
The letters are a bridge. As students grow, they build increasingly independent note reading while continuing to make real music.
That first song is the beginning. Kids Piano turns the same approach into a complete path forward.
