Music that fits real life

Start with maximum flexibility; add support when it helps

Choose the right balance of independent study, teacher contact, and community for your learner and schedule.

1. Comprehensive virtual courses

Use guided videos, printable sheet music, and clear lesson sequences on your own schedule—as many days each week as your family wishes.

2. Live classes as the social step-up

Small online classes add questions, teacher guidance, friendly accountability, and low-pressure opportunities to share music without leaving home.

3. Turn-key for parents

Materials are included, make-ups are flexible, and students can work increasingly independently. Begin month-to-month, then ask about semester or annual enrollment.

Ask About Longer Enrollment

Built from decades of teaching, composing, and research

A coherent musical path—not a collection of disconnected activities

Zach Tolan has taught since 2002 and led more than 60,000 lessons and classes. He is the inventor of the patented Exact Notes™ notation system, author of Kids Piano! Volumes 1–3, and a TEDx speaker.

The same habits carry through every level: see patterns clearly, read with confidence, listen closely, and understand what the music means. Families can begin with a playful first song and keep building toward serious musicianship.
